Third party projects

Billpocket

I worked on developing new features, releasing new versions, testing the app, maintaining the app, giving ideas to create an intuitive UI, applying best practices, finding and fixing bugs. Also, verifying and evaluating third party code within the app. At the end of my days, I was responsible for the project.

Banking US Army app

In this classified project name, I worked giving mantenance to some modules of the app, looking and fixing crashes. Also, third-party code verification and evaluation within the app.

Valle Real

Invite your friends and family to enter the residential area of Valle Real. Create your event and allow your guests to enter in a more comfortable, fast and secure way. Generate tickets for maintenance personnel if you detect an anomaly at your residence or in the area. Generate a QR code to speed up the entry to the residential area and guarantee your safety.

I worked developing the entire native app, giving ideas to create an intuitive UI, applying the best practises, uploading the app and new releases into Google Play, looking and fixing crashes. Also I worked giving ideas to bring more and better features, developing part of the DB, recommending the technologies of communication and the use of specific SDKs to create a better product.

For this project I developed three apps, for settlers, visitors and the maintenance personnel.

Mesa de Control

I worked developing the 2.0 version, using the Material Design pattern by Google, applying the best practises, uploading the app and new releases into Google Play, looking and fixing crashes. Also I worked giving ideas to bring more and better features, recommending the technologies and the use of specific SDKs to create a better product.

About

Hey there!, my name is Edgar Garcia, I'm from Colima, Mexico and I'm an Android developer since 2015. I adore my wife <3, but also I love videogames, movies and pizza (with soda of Cola)!

As I said before, I'm an Android developer, but also I have experience in Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Web, Videogames, Data Bases and a little of Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, Networking, Ethical Hacking and Ubiquitous Computing. I like to read and learn the technologies from tomorrow.

My work, is developing Android apps of my current job and personal apps for everyone! You can read more in the Work section. I'm the creator and developer of How Many Pizzas, the app to know how many pizzas you should order among a group of friends, the number of soft drinks, the posibility to get the separate bills for the group; the number of pizzas for a children's party and you can search all the pizzerias nearest from you! I started working in the idea in May 2016. If you wish, you can try it in Google Play.

I developed an Open Source app to implement your own Blockchain using Java and Kotlin in Android. So, you can find the app at Play Store to test it and get the source code here.
